Electric Toothbrush Appreciation Thread

Post by disco-dance axis »

Wow, I eventually gave in and got one, the feeling of cleanliness surpasses every manual brushing effort by far!
Who else does their brushing the tech way?

I love mine. It's the Oral B Braun Triumph. It's made in germany ( ), and it's got the power to shake all of your teeth right out of your head. The only thing I don't like is paying nearly $30 for 4 flossing heads.

Yep that's what I use. Those flossing heads own but I cheaped out the last time and bought some generics that don't have the floss dealies.

let me guess...you use an electric toothbrush because to do it the old fashioned way would make your arms cramp up like an 80 year old woman.

well, for me, that "elbow grease" was actually hurting me. i would brush back and forth hard, and add to that the fact that i brush 4 or 5 times a day, it made my gums wear away, and reveal the roots of my gums (painful!) they filled that in, and i switch to a electric toothbrush. the circular motion is much superior than the back and forth or up and down motion you make with a regular toothbrush. i got this:
