You know what, noah? Although it doesn't matter what I think, I bet you're a swell dood.
Re: Pedalboards
This might be my vaporizer talkin', but I'm gonna chance taking you off my FOE list.

They suck! That's why I wish this place had a gear subforum. So many play instruments... it's fun to talk about. The doom board is alright for that but they're all foreigners and shit.

I'm making a pedal board that is made out of an old piece of luggage. It opens totally flay t and fold under it's self. It's great. I'm going to post it in the diy thread when I'm done.
I'm also repairing a big wooden one for a friend now too.

Re: Pedalboards
Love/hate. Comes in handy sometimes, but the limited space and power options can be frustrating, especially if you're always rearranging. I've given up on any kind of universal power option, since I have so many different voltages to accomodate nowadays.

Re: Pedalboards
i have that same SKB board. It's really nice, but i don't really have much of a need for it at the moment. One thing i didn't like is that i couldn't close the case with some larger AC adapters plugged in (mainly the one for my Whammy pedal). Not to mention it weighs a fucking ton.
Incalculably stupid, i trust you'll agree.

Re: Pedalboards
Those powered boards often share a common ground, which can lead sot loops. A separate power supply, like a BBE Supa Charger, gives each outlet isolated grounds.

Re: Pedalboards
Yeah, if i had a real serious setup, i'd probably get the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power. Luckily, i never had issues with the SKB board's supply.

I'm getting these in the mail next week (hopefully) as part of my harsh noise setup. these are the pics he took of them (yes, crappy cellphone pics, but they shall do for now). he will be shipping UPS ground to my house.
