Love/hate. Comes in handy sometimes, but the limited space and power options can be frustrating, especially if you're always rearranging. I've given up on any kind of universal power option, since I have so many different voltages to accomodate nowadays.

i have that same SKB board. It's really nice, but i don't really have much of a need for it at the moment. One thing i didn't like is that i couldn't close the case with some larger AC adapters plugged in (mainly the one for my Whammy pedal). Not to mention it weighs a fucking ton.

Those powered boards often share a common ground, which can lead sot loops. A separate power supply, like a BBE Supa Charger, gives each outlet isolated grounds.

Yeah, if i had a real serious setup, i'd probably get the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power. Luckily, i never had issues with the SKB board's supply.

Justin what software do you record on? We should start a noise project together. I am going to buy a presonus firebos and use the software, I think it's cakewalk..... I prefer psychedelic swooshy textures over harsh noise but maybe we could compromise and find a cool mix......
