Epic soundtracks and/or music

Post by BarkingLocust »

For some reason I can't listen to anything with vocals when I write papers. Recommend epic soundtracks and/or other instrumental music. Recently I have been listenning to Lord Wind, as well as soundtracks for Conan, Krull (both from James Horner), LOTR , and Braveheart. Some of this is kinda cheesy/boring at times, I want more.

I don't know about "epic", but the Fight Club OST by The Dust Brothers is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Don't have soundclips but the soundtrack to Metal Gear Solid 4 is really good and ideal for writing papers I've found.

This is from Fire Walk With Me. It was in the movie, not on the movie soundtrack, but on the Season 2 + more soundtrack.

Actually the thing was compiled and sequenced by Sun City Girls' Alan Bishop, who was supposed to put it out but licensed it to ipecac instead.. PATTONFAIL

The correct answer is Top Gun Soundtrack.

Here it is on youtube. Man up, ladies. (uhhhhh..that's not all the songs, but still. Awesome)

Anything off the Hayal Gibi III album (the first two Hayal Gibi albums are good, too!).
