Took advantage of the nice weather 10C (PM Ben if you want that converted to F) and bbq'd some of Mitch's Mouth Watering Ribs... Been tinkering with the sauce over the winter...

I'm definitely not a rib guy, I'll take some sliced brisket over ribs any day, but this thread is making me hungry.

I'm not a fan of ribs, and I'm not a fan of BBQ sauces, but this summer I'm going to BBQ ribs with this stuff I found:

Regardless of the amount of the stuff available I found it. Like finding a penny in a penny jar, it was still found. But, enough frible-frable, the spicy kind all the way.

Smegma is right, though. The best BBQ place in the Boston area serves their ribs dry, sauce on the side.

It's Texas style. Basically one has to make sure the ribs taste good by themselves, you don't worry about covering up mistakes or bad cooking with sauce that wipes out all nuances. You concentrate on the taste of the meat itself, which is supposed to be perfect and not need anything else.

People up north don't get this shit...

I just made LASAGNA for the first time and it was a relative success, perhaps I shall try to make a dish I actually enjoy next time.

Carolina barbecue sauce is proven to be best. However rubbed butts or ribs with sauce added put it over the top. Can't turn good pork down though.
