Do not waste your time on this incredibly dull film. It has "crazy" elements but they are offput by a really paint by numbers plot and turgid pacing.

A friend of mine does a monthly horror/kvlt/weird movie screening (35mm only) and has this one slated for june if I'm not mistaken. It looks really cool, I really wish he would have done a Hausu/House double feature though....

I'm not saying not to go to the screening, I'm just saying this film is the olden days jap equivalent of scream. It is a lame, mainstream, formulaic affair that has a few "cray-zey!" elements that happen about once every 45 minutes. I bought into this things hype to, but I downloaded it and I assure you it is really nothing of note.

This movie is fucking NUTS. It's triumph is the fact that it uses the most banal of film and commercial (the director was a commercial director in Japan for many years. this was his first feature, I believe) cliche's and exaggerates them to the point of absurdity.

Totally entertaining and fun. You will be laughing your ass off and saying "What?!?" every minute or so. Smegma is right on with this one
