I've heard this is actually supposed to be good. I, like always, didn't read any of this thread, but supposedly it was written by the same people before or around the time the original came out, so it's not some knock off bullshit.

Agreed. When I first saw Predator 2 I was disappointed by the lack of Arnold, but now that I'm older I think its a great over the top action movie. Not as good as the first, but still great.

Robert Rodriguez has said the Predator's in this movie aren't your normal Predator's these are the evil badasses that do what ever the fuck they want and are usually bigger than your typical Predator. He's also stated that there will be different Tribes of Predators in the movie as well. I didn't read the big long post so it may be stated in that. Expect to see some Normal Blades though with some of the uber long ones.

What? The Predator is one of my favorite fictional Alien race. If you notice in the teaser poster the Predator featured only has one long blade per arm, compared to the usual wrist blades. So there will be several different types including different animals they have as well. Notice the predator dog in the trailer? If I remember reading right on IGN, there will be a predator that looks like the one from the first movie. Should be good, since as someone posted AND was correct the script was written after the 2nd movie. Just some things have been changed since thats a length timeline to have a script just sit.

I didn't mention Super Predators, I just mentioned as was stated there are different degree of Predators one type is a bigger more aggressive tribe. I mean hell we have dogs why couldnt they use some kind of animal to catch someone's scent? AVP added the long blades thing, but this makes it a tad different because its not your typical blade. It all comes down to either the trailers reveal more and others will like it, or you like it now, or dislike it. No biggie.
