Cheap and so good!

I usually pay like 2.00 for a huge sandwich with the fake meat. So stoked Vietnamese like fake meats. The regulars look and smell killer too.

I've tried to make my own but it's just not the same.

Fuck taco bell for cheap fast food!

It's good. It's tastes like ham slices. They have pork/ chicken, bbq..etc. like 20 different kinds at the one in oakland i go to.

where's the spot in oakland? i used to hit a place down the street from my homey's warehouse but they only had 2 vegetarian kinds, both tofu.

best baguette in portland is THE SHIT but only one vegetarian option (tofu). and they recently added a self-serve frozen yogurt station with a topping bar.. fucking mango frozen yogurt with lychee, blueberries, almond jelly, candy...

they also display/sell the most absurd animal shaped loaves of bread. a bull face, a foot long crab, disproportionate monkey, etc.

That sammich looks soo good!!
One time when I went to Oakland, I went to this Chinese place that only served vegan food and it was delicious. I can't remember what it was called, but it was awesome.

I've only had a halfassed version that wasn't really fresh at all, and was totally skimping on the toppings, and it was still tits. I'm sure we have a better place here somewhere... Perhaps I'll have to attempt a DOADlike feat, but bike around in search of a good banh mi.

I've seen cucumbers in salads and things from the area, so it makes sense. I'd probably purchase my first meat in about a year for a good one.

I like tofu just as much as meat, so if I find a good tofu one, I'm set. There has been quite the influx of Vietnamese and Hmong people here lately (and Lebanese, Turkish, Persian, and other assorted Middle Eastern peoples), and it's done wonders for the food scene.

I don't think I can hang with the various pig parts/pastes but if I can find a good veggie one I'll try it. I have no idea where I'll get one here, though. I still don't know what people here eat.

I just haven't been into meat lately...I don't know why. I think I'm going through changes.

I'm as barren as the Dead Sea and just as salty. Just call me Old Man Carrot from now on. It's over.
