is it true that sonic care toothbrushes can break your teeth?
you hit your gums so hard that you bleed w/ a normal brush, you should definitely stay away from those...

I was using an old toothbrush and wore a sore into the part where the gum meets the mouth on the right side. It hurts so bad. I've done it before but it's one of those things you don't realize it's happening until it's too late. I bought a new toothbrush and the sore is starting to heal.

Pro-tip if you make a salt water solution and swish it around your mouth it helps fix up sores and cuts in the mouth. Table salt will work but you need to put a ton in a small glass and tough it out. It's going to burn, do it once or twice a day and in a few days you'll be good. I should probably say spit it out, don't swallow.

My gums must be wolverine-like, cause when I get a cut or a burn/blister, it's usually healed by the next day.

This happens to me too. The brush slips and tears the tissue above the gums. This tiny tear grows into a painful white sore that lasts for about 9 days. I have little patience for brushing and go too fast, and this aggressive style causes me to slice my face open with no one to blame but myself. This year I did it twice in a row, which put my mouth out of commission and made me miserable for a combined three weeks. Never again. I now brush my teeth with the consideration one uses while disarming a bomb.
