I played through a Tiny Terror the other day, and the tone was pretty sweet, loud too. I'm in the market for a new amp and have been testing out different heads. I know Orange is expensive and quite popular nowadays but I really liked the sound.
Any recommendations on other good heads? I've started jamming again and want to try out as many different amps as possible before I buy one. I'm looking for the cleanest of cleans and the heaviest of heavies. I'd get a Fender Twin Reverb but I've never had a half stack.

You really can't go wrong with Orange (long as you can afford it, of course). Full, ballsy clean sound. Monstrous yet smooth as fuck distortion (throw away your pedals, xasthur fans [unless it's a ZVEX], no one wants to hear that tinny dogshit). Great tubes so they sound fantastic and clear at any volume.

Careful with the imported Oranges from (roughly) a decade ago; there were serious quality issues, but yeah the good ones are sweet as amps can get...
