If you don't think they deserve one best of release then you must really think they don't deserve two:

No band has ever needed a "best of" release. Ever.

I, good sir, disagree. I have quite a few non-metal Best Of's from bands I liked their "hits", but wouldn't own their entire collection.

I made my own Best Of The Who mix, it has none of their radio hits and a bunch random tracks from their first four albums that are all really aggressive, dark and demented, like digging pearls out of a stinky mountain of shit, I'd never want to sit through those awful albums again but I'll be damned if they didn't have some amazing odd tracks here and there

That's a goddamn outrage.

Anyways, I love my Fleetwood Mac double disc greatest hits set. It's all I really need by those halfheads...

Wrong, but not many bands needs it...a band would have to have a lot of good songs AND a lot of filler. But I suppose it's useless to pretend it's anything other than a cash grab on the part of their label.

The only bands that don't need a Best Of are the awesome bands for which EVERY album is a Best Of, and the sadsack bands with no Best Of to speak of...

Side note: Black metal bands get a Best Ov.

All those "best of" albums that Relativity did back in the early '90s (Death, Exodus, Agnostic Front, etc.) seemed pretty unnecessary, as good as those bands were. Especially the Exodus one, since it was basically a "best of Bonded by Blood" with a couple of other tracks tacked on, like the obligatory "Toxic Waltz".

Actually, it looks like Mr. Mister has 3 Best Of albums even though they only had 3 albums.
