Next Wednesday Pentagram is playing SF and friggin' WASP is playing about 5 minutes from our house. It looks like we're going to WASP. I'd love to see Pentagram, but I don't trust their performances. Also, weeknight and really close=WASP.

Saw Tombs last night. It was alright. Not great, not really bad either.

can't seem to find a proper flyer but I'm going to see Converge and Genghis Tron on Friday up in Sydney which should be great as I haven't seen either before

I might go to this on Saturday night if I'm still in Sydney although I have only heard about 2 Onanizer songs and they didn't sound too amazing
Have fun mate , I'm going to give it a miss , Ear Specialist did not go well on tuesday .
bummer about your ears - anything I can do to help?

I didn't go to Onanizer but Converge and Genghis Tron were awesome! I didn't know what to expect from GT and I didn't realise they had 2 keyboardists and a guitarist only. Would have liked to see a full set from them with a slightly clearer sound. Converge were bloody intense and pretty much played the playlist I saw posted from Wellington so Locust Reign was the older song which was a bit of a shame plus they started with Concubine while I was still at the bar. The singer must be a fit chap as he was pretty active. Wasn't super close but there was a mosh pit for all of Converge and the crowd just stared at GT which was funny. Ending with the song Jane Doe was pretty nice and I look forward to seeing them again at MDF.

No mate , permanent nerve damage/hearing loss in my left ear . Which I can deal with if the bloody tinnitus(ringing) would stop, also got to go for MRI this weekend to make sure nothing else is going on .

Disappointed about missing Genghis Tron but can wait for Converge at MDF.

Also if you have a HD set top box ,UFC on Versus is on 1HD tonight at 9pm.
