Re: The Childhood TV Show Thread
I've been trying to find two early-90s cartoon shows for a very, very long time. All I have to go on are memories. The websites that hoard information about this shit are rife with disorganization and Gak commercials. I'm 99% sure they were both network, not cable. If anyone can help I will paypal you chicken nuggets.
1. A special that I believe was supposed to lead into a full on series but never did. It was set in a world, probably the future, where many many people had been exposed to a TMNT-style mutagen. Everyone was a mutant. I remember it being slightly comedic in tone. I believe the first (only?) episode was about a family of normal people who become mutants and have to learn that that's okay, and they can use their new mutant gross-out powers to do cool stuff? I remember one episode of it being played for a few weekends in a row, and then it dissapeared. Not much to go on, but I'm on a fucking quest.
2. EDIT: FOUND IT!
2. A superhero-ish series about a team of armored teenagers who travelled around the world fighting occult-themed, Universal/Hammer-style monsters. I believe the premise was that Dracula had come back to life and started to make supernatural beings pop up around the planet, and so some government somewhere had put together a global response team to fly around and shoot mummies. The only episode I caught had a Wheeler-from-Captain-planet type character trying to lay the mack on a computer who had a hot female voice, while the other kids went like "calm down horny character".
Seriously chicken nuggets for anyone who can help!

guardianoftheblind wrote:ok i really need your help on this one, guys.
i am DESPERATELY trying to remember a cartoon from about 10 to (maybe) 15 years ago. it was from England, and it had to do with a middle aged guy and his wife and how mundane life was (maybe? UGH). it was somewhat minimalistic in its presentation (not intricate animation or anything) and the humor was pretty dry, obviously (if i can remember correctly)
i am also almost positive that it was played on comedy central, because it wasn't quite a cartoon for kids. not because it was adult themed, but just because kids wouldn't think it was funny.
HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
