You know, I meant to post about that show on here and it completely slipped my mind. The whole night was pretty funny, actually. There was this kind of redneckey frat dude type who was really starting to get on my nerves with the tuffguy "Pan Fuckin Tera" vibes he was putting out. I remember saying to my drummer "You know, I'll bet money that someone is going to knock that guy out tonight. I really hope it doesn't end up being me." Sure enough, he tried to get all flex flex with someone and got his clock cleaned, after which he sat at the bar with a bloody rag over his eye whining "... but I didn't doooo anythiiiing..."


The other openers were all pretty much your standard Darkthrone worship USBM, nothing mind blowing but they all were good at what they did. Acheron... was Acheron haha. You pretty much know what to expect from them every time. Kyle's drumming is pretty much the only thing I pay attention to. Our set ended up being one of the best we'd had yet at that point. My only real complaint was that the fake blood my guitarist and his girlfriend made was pretty much the stickiest substance I've ever seen and it burned like fucking pepper spray when it got in my eyes. I must have played at least half of that set with my eyes shut because it hurt too bad to open them haha.

Heheheh, good tale. The new song sounds good, I feel sorta bad for giving you guys so much hell for your theatrics... BM is a complicated game and you guys are giving something your best shot and I can't hold that against you. Just don't sign with Dwyer.

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Don't feel bad for it. In my younger, dumber days I might have experienced the butthurt over it but I've grown to appreciate the fine art of ballbusting.

Well, to be more accurate I should say it doesn't suck any more or less than anywhere else.

Right now this is my only active band. I do have a death metal project on the back burner, though. I have a few songs and a bunch of ideas, I just have yet to decide if I want to do everything myself with a drum machine or try putting together a real band. Either way it's going to be a while before I really immerse myself in that project.

Thanks dude. Yeah haha, that did suck. I still had to laugh though, I've never seen a house show get broken up by cops in riot gear before.

The best part for me was when that one dude took a huge chug of our "fake" blood and the look on his face when he realized it wasn't fake haha.

also the look of shock on the nblack cop's face when he busted in and saw you guys followed by something like, "What duh hell!" was priceless...

I really wish I would have known about this show before hand.. would have tried to get you to play at this Funeral Home instead.. that shit never gets shut down and can last into the night with no problems..

Haha yeah, that was the same guy. Keep that place in mind for us. We're looking to do a short tour this Summer and we would like to to give Buffalo another go.
