Typically every 5 days, including comforter, in hot water. I'm allergic to dust mites, so it's either wash and change sheets regularly or wander around with clogged sinuses and runny nose all the time.

I'm a little concerned that BBLisa hasn't weighed in to tell us what is the environmentally-sound frequency of bathing or sheet-changing...

Oooh! Here's another one - you buy a new pillow... how long until you replace it due to overall dinginess?

Until it smells. Pillow cases are washed with as much frequency as the sheets though.

Wuh...? If you change the jacket and pillow case, it doesn't get dingy :!: So: one a lifetime.

I don't use bed sheets, per say. My wife and I sleep on top of the bed sheets with independent blankets/sheets. It's much less inhibiting and let's you kind of shift around a lot more without disturbing the other person by playing tug-of-war with the sheets. Only sleeping on top of the bed sheets is real. And I wash those + pillow cases once a week.
The key to permanent consciousness increase was a hole in the skull. To restore the full brain pulsation of infancy. The key to more consciousness is sitting in the next room over. How can I know this and not unlock the door?

I sweat a lot when I sleep so my sweaty and I change the sheets every 4-7 days. And they get washed when I do the weekly laundry.

Probably on average, once a week, sometimes two. Depends on if there have been some "guest vaginas" sliming them, or sweatiness.

I'm amazed at the huge range...

hana made a good point though: WASH or CHANGE?

do you multi-monther not change your sheets but a few times a year? or you have so many sets, that each one only requires washing but a few times a year?

The way to do it is: have multiple pairs, change whenever you want, then wash the dirty ones as they come off. Easy.

You go through your whole day collecting dirt and dried sweat, slip into your sheets at night with no shower and then don't change your sheets more than 4 times a year?

You're welcome to have a sniff any time. Remember that I don't wear deodorant or antiperspirant...

It's not like I can't smell myself - I smell sometimes, but then I bathe.

I would shower. But that pretty much never happens without some acute reason. If I'm drenched in sweat after a workout or something of course I'll shower, but that applies any time of day.
