i really don't like doing this, but after looking at what you are listening to i will suggest that you listen to my band. myspace.com/hurtmodel
also, check out CLEVIS from LA. and Radio Deception from Oklahoma City if you want that Explosions in the Sky/Godspeed type instrumental.

the new one, There's no 666 in Out Space, has vocals, but it's not bad.triple clutcher v2.5b wrote:Hella? I remember "Hold Your Horse Is" being pretty neat.
I haven't heard Hold Your Horse Is in ages.
Also, there's a 2-piece French act called Cheval de Frise that sound like if Hella & Bozart had a crack baby.

Re: Suggest Instrumental bands (The kids call it "post rock"?)
You may want to check out some of these albums, some are not exactly post-rock, but beautiful instrumental albums none-the-less (and it's difficult to recommend instrumental/post-rock bands without ambience so some of these will have subtle/sparse vocals and definite ambient qualities) that you may be interested in;

Also check out Glenn Branca's guitar symphonies. "The Ascension" would probably be the best place to start. i really like the 1st, 3rd, 5th and 6th symphonies too.
Incalculably stupid, i trust you'll agree.
