The ab ripper section of p90x might do it with the right diet. maybe do it 3-4 times a week?

in my early 20s I discovered for the first time in my life that when I left weights regularly I build muscle pretty fucking fast. the one thing that lagged behind though, even with decent diet and exercise, were my abs. by June 29th its highly unlikely that you're going to have a 6 pack unless you become dedicated to it. good LOOKING abs are not worth the insane amount of work and dedication involved man, especially if you're only looking to win a bet.

oh yeah I did the ab ripper thing on p90x a few times. it's hard, but not any harder and definitely not a better workout than any number of ab routines you can find uploaded by random douchebags on youtube.

i honestly think it's not happening. everyone thinks they're going to be so changed when they start working out. but it takes longer than 3 months.

also, if you drink generous amounts of beer/alcohol and do not have an ectomorphs metabolism/bodystyle (if you do, you probably don't need to work on the 6 pack anyway...), you are screwed unless you stop drinking.

Thread has inspired me to go to the gym for a second time today! I usually run between 2-3 miles (treadmill 6.5 speed 3.0 incline) for 30 min. and lift (usually pretty heavy/ 2 bodyparts alternating) for an hour. Gonna see if I can double that today/night...

Food is what kills me. I think I've had this discussion with a few on here... My willpower twords avoiding good (read: bad for you) food is almost non-existant.

I believe in the power of Travis. Up your protein intake and do lots of special crunches and sit ups combined with cardio and then keep your fluid intake really low before the judgment. This is what I learned from watching the television, not from experience. I think it helps your chances if you rub yourself down with fake tan and wear and speedo. HTH

Abs have more to do with body fat percentage (your diet) and your body's disposition to fat distribution (genetics) than how much you can lift or how strong your core is.

Cut out carbs and sugars from your diet (don't even use artificial sweeteners, ugh) and do a lot of weighted crunches and you may have them by June 29th.... 2011.
