Haha, I was there at the side of the stage for that. The puller was actually Jack Koshik, infamous organizer of the Milwaukee Metalfests.

Does Abbath still spit fire at shows? I only saw Immortal once and it was their first ever US show 10 years ago. Abbath was all ready to spit hot fire and then someone pulled him aside and told him it's a no-go so I never got to see it dammit.

Show was awesome. I think they played for 2 hours or an hour and a half, felt like 20 minutes. There were only 2 bands total so it was worthwhile. I was a bit shocked that so many people payed $45 bucks to see them. They totally killed it though. The sound was great, same venue Repulsion played at. They were playful and energetic the entire time. Would see again.

Tell you again? I don't recall this topic being covered before, but I'm sure you can read a little about winter and apply that knowledge to Los Angeles.

I think I'm going to this show. You should be fine with traffic, I do this drive all the time and the only time I've hit traffic was on the Sunday following Thanksgiving. You're gonna be coming down at a time when everybody else is going the opposite way of you. The I-5 doesn't directly hit the 101 where you're trying to go, you need to split off onto the 170 for about 5 miles (the entirety of that freeway) and it spits you out onto the 101 which is probably the only time you're going to hit any traffic, about a 15-20 minute delay. Depending on how many times you stop and if you lag with eating or anything you will probably be fine if you leave by noon. I don't know why you want to get there at 7 unless you just want to walk around and look at the squatters in Hollywood.

yeah that place does become a club. But usually shows go until 10:30 or 11 tops. its so funny to come outside and have the most giant Pile of Los Angeles' trashiest people all pissed off waiting on line to get into some shitty club. I would go, But uh... Im false. and Ill be swimming. Oh also Ross, Looks like some plans moved around so If you need entertainment on Sat I dont need to be back home until like 4 or so Not noon.

i saw Neurosis/ Voivod/ Today is the Day in munich and they had to be out of the place by eleven or so. i was so fucking pissed off. probably the best show i've ever seen. at least Neurosis did the smart thing and skipped the letting the people wait before the encore -part.

And i said it before but it you get in early and want to eat. Head EAST on Hollywood BLVD about 4-5 minutes. Right across the freeway is Thai town. Cant go wrong. West will only get you tourist shit food.
