To be fair, it's still less annoying than "After Forever".

For content -- the B-52s' cover of "Downtown" (it's a terrible song no matter who covers it) and the last track on BBTS' "Soundtrack to the Personal Revolution" (the silly guitar thing).

Flaming Lips - "It Overtakes Me" and "Haven't Got A Clue". both from Mystics, both the only bad songs they've done since their so-so 80s albums.

most Rush after Grace Under Pressure (Power Windows onward) is pretty lame too. same for Jethro Tull after Stormwatch onward (basically everything after '79, used to like some of Roots to Branches but that album hasnt aged well at all).

as for Sacred Reich, "dont just be a metal dude, it's cool fool". are they fuckin kidding? worst lyrics ever (besides "Metallica's music makes me wanna rage, Sting's lyrics have a-somethin' to say." also from the same song).

Fuck I 110% agree. That later Rush shit is just awful.

I'd like the take the time to also say that Rush is one of my all time favorite bands, and Neil Peart is hands down my favorite drummer ever.


As for Slayer...

Diabolus and God Hates Us All are two of the worst albums EVER MADE. Divine Intervention is okay at best. I actually really enjoyed Christ Illusion and World Painted Blood is really starting to grow on me. Sure, it's not old thrash your fucking face off Slayer, but it's still really well written music, and you can definitely tell Lombardo's influence in the band. (Favorite metal drummer)
