It's a french technical death metal band from France,
that didn't forget to have riffs! Some tracks are extreme, some tracks are progressive...
Saw them live, it sounded like a mix of later DEATH (Sounds of perseverance, perhaps Individual), old SPAWN OF POSSESSION and some old MORBID ANGEL.
Great gig.

Great doom metal from Sweden the old school way,
Traditional stuff without modern influences.
Some riffs almost sound like death doom, which is nice.
Saw them live this week end, it was a very good gig!

Is it racist that I don't like ghostmane because he's white?
I like his vocals, but the lyrics sound super corny coming out of a Kurt kobain looking nonmelanated genetic recessive - I feel like if he was actually some young black kid who grew up fourcorneredroom staringatcandles I'd be totally cool with all the dirty south tropes
99.9% of the time I try as hard as I can not to know biographical information about musicians or even look at artwork or read the promo copy, videos etc - just actually get all impressions from the music. When things are gimmicky though I start to think harder. My brain is a chapel of clumsy ghouls.
Is The Berserker AUTHENTIC or is he culturally appropriating central European Gabba hardcore?! Only metal injection comment section can tell us for sure
