A man in California is haunted by the memory of a pop song from his youth. He can remember the lyrics and the melody. But the song itself has vanished, completely scrubbed from the internet. PJ takes on the Super Tech Support case.

this shit is wonderful
this is indeed outstanding

SPOILERS BELOW I once had some unplaceable music in my head and recorded it on guitar and send it to friends/family and they eventually helped me realize that it was just the "high adventure" motif from LOTR, remembered/performed extremely terribly will happily upload my interpretation if anyone would like to laugh at my mushy brain
and even before that episode, I have been haunted by the scenario where somehow I have to recreate a bunch of music from memory, otherwise it's lost forever. like that Yesterday movie (fuck the beatles!) but it's a horror film. but the dude on this podcast did an INCREDIBLE job!
I am not sure they actually said it in the episode, but the song was indeed from the late '90s, like 97/98, exactly as people were hypothesizing. fucking LOVED the wow ice cream in a martini glass! story, followed by savage abandonment.
