I hated this episode, for many reasons already mentioned...

it felt more episodic than ever...like, here's this, here's that

and the ''dany'' speech...

fucking embarrassing...it made me feel ashamed for watching. usually when this show goes for a haymaker, it lands...but like most of you, it missed for me. she was incredibly miscast. imagine that whole storyline with an actress who could carry it...fuck...

what pisses me off the most is the show has a handful of really good actresses, but they chose a one-note amateur for arguably the most significant character...?!? it's making me like the show less because her arc could/should be the most dramatic, and they've obviously devoted a fuckload of running time to it, but it just falls flat over and over again.

does anyone here actually like show-Dany? the only defense I hear is that she's a good character if you've read the books, but fuck that. Clarke shouldn't get a free pass because the source material is better than the TV script.

I don't really have a problem with Dany and thought her speech at the end was fine. Jorah and Littlefinger are both waaay worse

she's not a great actor but i rarely feel like she's holding anything back. tyrions accent is terrible, bran is low energy, jon snow is boring, sam and gilly have two notes between them, varys doing anything other than supporting is completelylost, grey worm and misandei should never speak

they've all got weaknesses, its a great show
