The Defenders - 7/10
As good as it could have been and probably better than it should have been. Good interplay between the main protagonists, but pretty weak and directionless stuff from the antagonists and their plotlines. Also by the end of this I never need to see another fight scene again.

The Punisher - 9/10
So much better than I expected it to be or really had any busines being. Just perfect tone, pace, story, casting, writing. It’s original, clever, moving, poignant. It’s The Punisher series that’s better than I ever would’ve dared to hope, even as a 12 year old renting Dolph Lundgren in The Punisher for the firsr time. I was left thinking, “wow, I really like what they did with that episode.” after every episode.
I’m going to avoid spoilers because the tags don’t work, but damn what a great ending and what that sets up in the future.

Started watching it for the bloodshed and was surprised to get incredibly dark, incredibly politically charged and realistic drama. It's great on all levels, even the minor characters are amazing. Jon Bernthal is the perfect fit. He
is the fucking Punisher.
And I just found out this season has not ten but 13 episodes

Really fucking good...full redemption from season 2, and then some.
Tied up some loose ends, and did some background fill-ins.

vice principals was terrible. they took all of the worst parts of eastbound and down and made a show out of it. fucking abysmal.
hannibal was the most fun i've had watching a show since early game of thrones. how the fuck was this show on network tv. fantastic.

Happy! has been pretty decent thus far. Maybe second best show of the Fall/Winter. Fair warning as it seesaws between realistic and cartoonish out of nowhere, sort of Army of Darkness.

im not really all that into it. ill still watch until the end (apparently episode 7 is really fucked up) but im hoping it gets better

Black mirror season 4 - 5/10
1st episode is a lot of fun but it's all downhill after that, at least until the last episode which is far from good but pulpy enough to be enjoyable. Episode 4 is the san junipero of the season, meaning it's a thoroughly mediocre sci fi romance that everyone is praising because it's uplifting or something.
thankfully there are no episodes as terrible as waldo moment or white bear, so there's that?
