That Teddy Hart interview was pretty good, but nothing beats his episode of Best Friends with Chuck Taylor and Trent? He's out of his mind.

So, Takeover was fucking awesome. SummerSlam was like a C+ pay per view with one of the best matches of the year in Cena vs. AJ. Balor vs. Rollins was really good but Balor's injury fucking sucks.

They were headed in a good direction with Balor as RAW Champion, but now that he's out, I'm hoping they go with KO.

Smackdown has been great. AJ Styles vs. Ziggler was a hell of a match, and I really hope AJ wins the title and holds it through Mania at this point. He's just too fucking good.

Been away for two weeks. Haven't seen anything aside from NXT Take Over and Lesnar scalping Orton prior to my trip to the Magic Kingdom. Return to see WWE has one hundred and two injuries and wellness policies suspensions. Return to see WWE won't do anything with that great The Miz promo because that's not how they pictured it happening. Return to see the authority interjecting themselves into the World Universal title story line. :(

Returned to see Dixie Carter is finally gone and there will be a Delete vs Decay thing :D

The Authority is done. Stephanie and Mick run the show every week, and they did that this week. Triple H wasn't even on RAW this week, and Kevin Owens got to look like a strong champion. I guess it's all how you look at it, though.

And yes, the Final Deletion Part II with the Hardys vs. Decay is going to be WONDERFUL!

Owens has the RAW World Title Belt as well. Didn't think they'd do that either. And it's all well and good for AJ and Kevin, but the shows that surround them aren't very good. I tried to watch the RAW from Monday and the first thing I saw was Jack Swagger fighting Divari... I think I literally fell into my chair and passed through 4 parallel universes out of shock that in 2016 I'd have to bear witness to such a thing.

When I returned to this Earth I pondered not wasting my time anymore on pro-wrestling, and I'd waste my time doing something more insidious or stupid, but then like a guiding light I remembered this:

and knew I was not ready to quit just yet.

Smackdown is great. Sure, Jack Swagger being traded to Smackdown and then cutting a shit promo wasn't anything special, but AJ Styles vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose is a fucking money feud.

AJ & Harley Quinn Bliss are the only thing on Smackdown I don't fast forward through. American Alpha as well, I guess.

Alright, Ambrose and the Miz too. So 6 out of how many are watchable?

Jeff Hardy reemerging from the Hardy Lake as the drugged out version that Sting forcefully pinned was when he was coked out/drunk years ago was fantastic. I've been praising Matt's stuff, but Jeff has been delivering as well. This whole thing is like if I woke up one day and suddenly really liked cilantro and coconut. Makes no sense how this is happening.

2016 has been one of the best overall years in wrestling in a long time. If WWE running a dumb nostalgia main event isn't your thing, I don't blame you, but let's not act like that match happening is indicative of 2016 on the whole. Between New Japan, PWG, WWE, hell, even what TNA has been doing since the Hardy stuff got over, Lucha Underground, it's been a GREAT year for wrestling.
