i beat the damn tutorial boss, no real biggie, but can't beat two skeletons O_O

gaahhhh, i need to get my work done and go get this ASAP. jake, what kind of build do you have, and does it work well? picking a crap class and having to start over a few hours later is one frustration i think i could do without this time around.

I picked one of the mages. I like ranged magic, although I hardly use it unless I'm against something big.

Plus...I'm not all that far.

Lure them to you one at a time. If that doesn't work, move away from them until they're not side-by-side, then slash away at the one in the front.

protip: don't start with the fucking thief if you value your sanity. starting weapon and shield are garbage

restarted with whatever the top guy on the list is and blew through what took the thief 90 minutes to do in about 15 because the sword does TWICE as much damage

Curious players have also wondered about how Dark Souls on Xbox 360 will handle Party Chat and Private Chat functionality. Well, the game does not support player-to-player voice chat over Xbox Live. At all. No real surprises there. However, if players engage a Party Chat session, Dark Souls will instantly kick you out of your current game and boot you to the main menu.

"Cannot continue game while you are in party chat. Returning to title screen..." reads on on-screen prompt if in a chat session. It's similar to the way Dark/Demon's Souls handles network connection interruptions for players who take those games online—you're booted to the main menu, with your progress, location and world state saved.

ok so somewhere else in the area you come across like 4 treasure chests. one of them contains a mace. after getting my ass kicked using a sword, i said "uh wait, a mace would be way more effective at crushing the bones of these dumbass skeletons." totally worked. block their first hit > normal attack with mace (stuns them) > heavy attack with mace. rinse and repeat. now how do i leave a message...
