Paris too, for that matter.
People in Montreal however...
I need to meet some nice people from London, to change my point of view.
I went to see "london falling" because I knew I would get pleasure from seeing London destroyed.
I'm a bit surprised that so many of you still generalize so quickly. Met a couple of unfriendly British people? Why, they must all be complete bastards!
The only obvious exception to this is French people btw....

Way more than a couple. British people have a special way of being unfriendly.

Yeah because they have a special way of being unfriendly to each other based on region, accent, religion, class, ethnicity, history etc...

Others were oppressed and abused so she could be fat
Slavoj Zizek basically implied this in a BBC interview a month back...

This a trillion times. I wouldn't even know what a safe place was if I didn't see tough guys on the internet crying about it so much.
I guess you can just attribute it to the 'I live in fear' qualities of the right. They catch wind of something and all of a sudden it's an epidemic that's going to destroy the world.
I know people with actual PTSD, so I'm both pissed at the idiots claiming they have it because something made them mildly uncomfortable once, and at the idiots who claim it's not a real condition.
I think people just have a hard time taking it seriously. If you're going to advocate for extreme social change you need to be a good communicator, or have a leader/spokesperson who is. Visual cues like that do them absolutely no good at all.
It's like if some dude in a suit was advocating graveyard reform he'd have an easier time than full battlegear Danzig would, as sad as that might be.

Mostly posted that triggly puff spin off because the original jam is so terrible and overplayed to the point where any repurposing is a win, but I have to differ with y'all... this new age bizarro reactionary contagion of "evolving" political correctness is real, on the internet and in real life. It's been brewing in pop culture, media, academia and to some extent civics/government/the courts for decades. Testimony from survivors of the cult:

pretty much any ideology will twist weak minds into case studies - even straightedge produces bad apples somehow. if it's going to help people understand that date rape is just rape etc. I'm totally fine with a few people going off the SJW deep end... since those types are probably going to find a deep end to off-go eventually anyway
