LETTER TO THE DIVINE FEMININE:
A WHITE TRASH PENNSYLVANIAN HIT MY HEAD WITH A GOLF CLUB SO MANY TIMES THAT I TALK LIKE BENICIO DEL TORO IN THE USUAL SUSPECTS FOREVER NOW
When I return from the grave as a telekinetic zombie and decapitate my daughter as a replacement for a Father's Day cake it's truly because of people like wounded masculinity.
I'm just surprised it's still acceptable to refer to a group of people as "men". Shouldn't that say something more like "people who identify as male" or something? I'm confused.
a girl i know just died of cancer over the weekend and one of her exboyfriends posted on facebook about how sad he was and also mentioned very clearly that she was the only girl to ever break his heart..
and they broke up like 5 years ago. and people are replying "sory for your lost" on his post
It's a sad state of affairs in the world when I no longer know if it's cool or hipster douchey to use a samurai sword to cut your girl friend's head off. I hate new people for ruining everything great.
Me and the wife got in a heated argument about it last night (she brought it up). I couldn't help bringing up it was one anonymous white woman fresh out of college speaking out against a rich and popular man of color, and 17 brought it up against the person who made it to the white house. She did not like that...
yes, people should read this and learn from it and be sympathetic to the woman's plight
no, a guy acting like that (including his texted, apparently sincere apology) doesn't need jail time or a terminated career
but instead we get insanely polarized internet arguing where people are claiming that a "forceful" kiss is a "forced" kiss and thus sexual assault ... more of that awesome joke about having someone sign dozens of consent contracts during foreplay / "may I thrust again"
I hate it.
I guess "babe" is ultimately funded by murdoch so some are claiming it's a deliberate derail
I feel like the "I didn't get to choose my wine" thing at the beginning says it all
My other argument was this is fucking terrible for the cause since it's wandering into "the boy that cried wolf" territory. The more it happens, the more desensitized society becomes, and eventually even the most bleeding heart people may just end up not giving a fuck altogether out of emotional exhaustion when the more serious shit gets reported.
I wish this incident would spark a discussion focused on how women opportunistically try to attach themselves to fame and power, which is the elephant in the room of the #MeToo movement. But we all know that will never happen.
Also, pretty shitty of this anonymous woman to use Guy A (who took her to the party) to branch swing to Guy B (the famous guy, Aziz Ansari). Shameless, hurtful behavior that is completely excused by our society.
from an internet rando - going in here because context is obvious
