Lilium is a group that started as the non DEE members of 16hp (I think it technically pre-dates 16hp, but the recorded output does not). I love the first record, but all subsequent stuff is unlistenable garbage to me.

The thing about it is, there isn't really much of a stylistic shift at all. I think most of these examples in this thread relate to those stylistic shifts, but this is one case where yeah its just bad.

It's an epitaph for all that backpacker stuff. Just sucks. I honestly didn't enjoy most of what he released after that - I didn't hear all of it but I just lost interest.

He did an album called hail mary mallon sometime around 2015 that was pretty cool tho
