Just want to say I totally agree about Times of Grace and on... unfortunately. ToG was where they started with the filler tracks and it's only gotten worse from there. The Eye of Every Storm is SO fucking terrible!!!

But I disagree with whoever said the last Dystopia sucked. I dig it quite a bit, although NOTHING will ever touch Human = Garbage.

eh... I kinda would have agreed after my first listen to this album, but it grew on me

their last one (forgot the title) was more disappointing, for me; I'm sure that one'll grow on me too, though

anyway, a lot of albums I like have been posted in this thread, if I was gonna get pissed about any one pick then I woulda had a rageplosion and painted my walls intestine by now

i give this shit a go at least every few months, and i always inadvertently stop paying attention about halfway through the album. it's more sad than bad.

Funny, some of the stuff being critisized here are many albums I enjoy. Later era Neurosis, new High on Fire, Sadness by TITD... I love those records!

For me it was Morne's first full length, "asylum." I'll have to listen to it a few more times, as I think I've only played it two or three times, but I know those two or three listens did not please me. After "untol wait" I think it's just full and boring.

That Morne is great if you listen to maybe one or two songs at a time. I can't make it through the whole thing in one sitting, its too boring. That first song though? Shit is the best thing they've ever done.

He's right, though. Everything after Strap It On was really shitty.

EVERYTHING past strap it on? Fuck sake, man.... Just put "The demos were better" in your signature and call it a day.

Nick Cave's "Dig Lazarus, Dig" was a huge let down after the Grinderman album, I thought he had found the hop in his step again, no dice.

Also, on the Bad Seeds failure tip, the last two Barry Adamson albums were a real drag, he had quite the streak going.

The last Shellac was utter bullshit save one track. They shouldn't have bothered.

.
Yeah, because no indie band who signed to a major after their first record has ever gone downhill. Strap It On isn't even that good, it's just that the records after it sound really watered-down.

Still, allow me to apologize. I didn't realize you lost your cherry to "Unsung" (well, maybe thirty seconds of it); although I probably should have.
