It horrifies me that I'm in the same reality as that potential fate, even though the odds of me having my head sawn off are remote, there's this panic on the Russian's face that stares right into me and says but it could still happen, Matt, it happened to me and I'm just like you, and for some reason because it happened to that man, it's like it's already happened to me in some horrible alternate reality. I can barely stand the thought. no... a child is capable of recognizing reality. being a pussy and running away from it by hiding yourself within hobbies and escape mechanisms/substances such as drugs, alcohol, d&d, video games, movies, books, conspiracy theories/insanity, autism, add, unemployment disability, and internet are all methods of avoiding reality.

sort of like when you let your guard down with alcohol and paranoia and you post how you really think you feel, and then when reality sets in and you edit all of your posts? yeah... that's hiding. you should probably get a salary for it you're so good at it. that's realization.

Yeah, we all hide in one way or another. It's unsustainable living full-time in the face of harsh reality. We aren't suited for coping in that for long.

But why call someone a pussy for not wanting to watch real death videos?

Sitting behind a keyboard living on the internet and watching death clips isn't really engaging with the world either. It's also a coping mechanism. Don't fool yourself.
