I read almost all of it (spaced out when the fat comedy actress tangent happened), I just didn't comprehend much of it. not sure if there's a single point in there.
try this on for
size:
When Jennifer Lawrence says it's "dumb" to go hungry to make other people happy, she's saying it with the carefree attitude of a woman who probably will never have to make that choice to conform. Yes, she'll be asked to diet for a role, and she feels the same pressure to meet cultural expectations as everyone else. But a woman who looks like Jennifer Lawrence doesn't have to shop for her clothes in online stores because no physical storefronts carry her size. A woman who looks like Jennifer Lawrence probably isn't going to have a stranger try to stage an impromptu intervention in a Pizza Hut because they're so, so concerned for her "health." If a woman who looks like Jennifer Lawrence goes to her doctor to complain of an ailment, she'll be offered diagnostic tests instead of a diet plan. Jennifer Lawrence can say it's "dumb" to go on a diet, but Jennifer Lawrence might not be facing weight-related prejudice or illness. Jennifer Lawrence may never be forced to make the choice between going hungry to lose weight versus having a knee and hip replacement at 35.
why
health
? and the BALL
S necessary to say that fat people have to deal with "weight-related prejudice or illness" ... that's really the rub in every one of these idiotic articles - fat fucks are clearly living in a prison of flesh but if anyone wants to liberate them it must be because of prejudice or because of unrealistic beauty standards

Now, I should note that when I tell you I'm fat, I really mean it. I'm not just slightly chubby and complaining about those last 15 pounds. I'm rather short and weigh almost precisely 300 lbs. I wear size 28 clothing.
feces was recently incarnated
edit: that's actually sort of a touching read. nothing to be mad at and not much to laugh about

This thread has made me realize just how much I hate whiny fat people. It does not take much at all to get these people worked up.

highlites:
- her essay's first paragraph talking about what is fed
- when she's all "I really hope you don't act petty and delete me" AND THEN DELETES YOU to frame you as a coward
incidentally, I saw a super sexy-faced scientist gal today who had a body shaped like Homer Simpson (inferior ass) and the cognitive dissonance about melted my noggin ... more sure than ever that the boner center of my brain is super racist against adipose tissue

Hey fuck you man, they're HAPPY and HEALTHY as demonstrated by their ability to type RANDOM words in ALL CAPS. Maybe it's your fault your BONER ZONE can't handle their CURVES.
