Fuck Ozzy right in the fucking ass. You're a fucking professional. If people are paying $100 per person to hear you sing then you practice every fucking second until it's acceptable or just don't do it. What's your excuse you fucking lump? Your brain is too wet? Then don't fucking make a record and tour. It's fucking embarrassing. Just die already. At least somebody like Danzig still runs around and puts on a good show regardless of if his voice is going or not. I can't express how much I hate this useless piece of shit right now.

I've seen him the past 3-4 years at the Halloween show he does in LA and he sucks, his voice is gone but he really does put on a great show. He runs all around the stage and makes a fool out of himself but it's great. Ozzy just stands there like if you take the mic stand away he'll keel over and he just moans into the mic. Watch videos from the last Heaven and Hell tour. Dio is running around the stage like the Man of La Mancha. He's interacting with the crowd, he's singing his heart out, he's giving people what they pay for. IMO Danzig has always given me what I've paid for. This Black Sabbath live footage is not worth the gum on my shoes. It's a fucking cash grab by Ozzy and Sharon and it's fucking embarrassing.

Black Sabbath haven't been in Australia since 78.

The set list from rough memory included War Pigs, Into The Void, Electric Funeral, NIB, Behind The Walls Of Sleep, Black Sabbath, Snowblind, Under the Sun, Children of the Grave, Fairies Wear Boots, Iron Man and Dirty Women and Paranoid as well as the other new songs.

Ozzy fucking up a few times here and there was actually kinda entertaining and he actually even manage to exceed my low expectations on a couple of the songs.

But the point is - I don't give a shit about the vocals that much anyway - Tony has cancer and it may well be the last or only opportunity to see these songs live with Geezer and Tony - Both were absolutley sterling.

I don't get the American Idol-esque vocal critique on the board here - Ozzy didn't sing or perform like Dio when Ozzy was 25 let alone 40 years later - It's apples and oranges - But dudes - It's fucking Sabbath...if you've seen them since they did the 97 reunion with Bill a few times I can understand where you're coming from but it's not like you don't know what you're in for when you go see them.

Sharon knows that there are enough people that think like this that will shell out any price to see a zombie yell into a mic.

I think Bark at the Moon is one of metals great lost albums. Golden year ozzy always considered Diary and Blizzard, but Bark was bitchin', IMO.... journey to the center of eeeeeeeeternity..... :invcross:

wouldn't go for $100. but there's probably a price below fifty I might go for. not that that would ever happen. just sayin, it's prob not a total waste of a friday night.

Well in most cases my friends and I went for the riffs. I've seen a tonne of doom bands who don't sing much better than Ozzy live and they're half his age...

And you pay $10 to see those doom bands.

kinda like Trouble: You can enjoy the vocals and the riffs distinctly. Want riffs, go see Trouble 2013. Want vocals (maybe? does wagner suck now?) go see the Skull. As long as it's half the price for (roughly) half the experience, cool.

The riffs are the same as 40 years ago - Just played a bit slower and heavier.

Which was just fine with me.

I would go along with that comparison monsterod.

Look, it's not my fault they didn't go to your island so you couldn't see Black Sabbath before Ozzy was a joke. I'd go just to see Iommi and Geezer too if I hadn't seen them a few times since 1997, but I will not stand for this Ozzy white knighting. There is nothing redeemable about Ozzy v.2013
