when I was young and fucked up, I loved Holy Mountain...a bit older I thought more of El Topo
but...these fascinations should be passing phases. now he's worshipped mainstream and I want to vomit
they make documentaries now...it's hip for young art kids
I'll say this...the only good thing about jodorowsky is being young and high and watching holy mountain for the first time
his newest movie is embarrassing dog shit

i feel like maybe you guis need to calm down a bit in here, or maybe just not spend so much time around art kids
i really liked that part in jodorowsky's dune where he was describing how he felt when the studios/company told him that his movie was too long and he was like, "i'll make it twelve hours long! i'll make it twenty hours!!". am i misguided by his accent and there was no unabashed sincerity?
come on guis

no ed. the idea that young people in 2015 still ruthlessly jacking off to this guys dreams is incredibly vulgar. its like somehow worse than beatlemania and the revolting face of bob dylan still being around

Dune is a pretty briskly paced book, that gets faster the deeper you get into the novel, definitely didn't need the Peter Jackson treatment.
