a lot better/ more erotic and interesting than I expected. Went to a Burlesque show last weekend with the wife, was taen by surprise by the dancing skills of the ladies and the positive vibes at the event.
Performance I liked best that evening (admittedly mainly, but not exclusively because of the bottoms of the lady) was Polinka as Alice in WOnderland:

I don't like regular strip clubs so I never went to a burlesque...
It still seems like some doughy steampunk thing for annoying people who like rockabilly monster oi bands.

Funny thing is I've never seen so many totally average people 50 years and older in a live venue that usually has hardcore and punk bands playing. Vibes were friendly and the performers were really into it.

right, I almost never listen to BM so I'm pretty clueless when it comes to cvlt bands. Anyway, almost all of the performers were pretty damn sexy...
