deftones rule, have great longevity, and continue to put out great music but I think that’s it for false metal that I can hang with
I HATE System of a Down, gimmicky bullshit that’s among the worst of music which enrages me just thinking about the music existing, like Copperhead Road or Big Leagues or the Barenaked Ladies
I loved that first Korn album when I was 15. Tried listening to a few songs again maybe five years ago and was just dumbfounded at how deeply embarrassed and ashamed of myself I was
I'm going to re-unsubscribe from all/any deftones content tyvm
that album is better than it has any fucking right to be and i'm still baffled by that

really struggled to get through a leak of this new one. its exactly what you imagined the last few creative fumes of this band would sound like while just very slowly recycling, jamming and padding out the most boring parts of their last 3 albums. its inconsequential. that live version of descending was better than the whole record. maybe it sounded heavy in rehearsal but get this shit out of here.
no cans of fantano milk

the polyrhythm part of invincible and the chugga part of same song are halfway cool but i can't imagine a more boring or predictable album
undertow still slaps though so at least there's that
