Roger J. is obviously a talented dude, but is any of his non-Malignancy, non-Mortician output worth a shit? Change my mind.

Does he have that much other output? Primitive Brutality is basically Mortician 2.0 with Roger doing the vocals himself. Other than Prosthetic Cunt and a few other one man bands I didn’t know he had much other output. Pooptastick would probably be the better person to ask.

This old rehearsal is pretty sick:

Roger just needs to work on a new mortician album.

His other projects are fucking useless.

It was a long-ass journey but I'm finally at the point where I feel like I can really appreciate Mortician

Bits of Gore is probably the closest thing to a new Mortician:

it's not as primitive as Mortician since Will is not there to filter Roger's technical flair.

He had another project called Grindbot which has a really cool concept since everything is computer generated:

Though if you're looking for Mortician and Malignancy related projects - none of his projects really hit as close.

I don't know why I never appreciated Mortician back in the day. In this modern age of bedroom death metal with drum machines, they really were so far ahead of their time in a lot of ways. I can't really think of any stand-out "songs" per-se, but I can throw on a Mortician album these days and just appreciate the overall vibe and aesthetic and that's not something I was able to do when I was younger. I also cared way too much about production values or "musical talent" back then like a fucking Guitar World-reading nerd.
