As long as we're talking celeb sightings and whatnot, I once met Chloe Sevigny on the street outside ABC No Rio before playing a show in 2003 maybe? She was walking around shopping with my band's drummer's girlfriend (who was in the Mighty Ducks sequels 2&3). I didn't even realize it at the time because she was introduced to me as Chloe - like no big deal. I was told who it was after the fact. I rarely can recognize celebrities in the real world - like my brain refuses to make the connections. There's been so many times when someone has said to me "Do you know who that was?!?" and I was completely oblivious.

I think that was the same show where the ABC No Rio staff wouldn't let Iann Robinson into the show because he was on MTV News, even though he was friends with the guitarist of my band. Weird shit!

As much as I’m saddened that this place was leveled, posts like these make it easier to cope.

I’ve ran afoul many celebrities and I don’t really care about that sort of thing so I never bothered interacting. Some things, crossed the street with Bruce Campbell, pissed next to Howard Stern, drank a beer next to Stone Cold Steve Austin. All the female celebrities are really puny. Um, Gwen Stefani is a cunt who thinks she matters more than anyone else and David Boreanaz is a little bitch that almost knocked pizza out of my arms running away from 12 year old girls.
