I’d pay Mark Z Danielewski a stipend and then the publishing costs to finish “The Familiar” series because it will never happen now otherwise. Probably more of a selfish desire but I’m sure other people would appreciate it happening too.

Not enough money where you could just end world hunger or something like that.

Obviously that was a long time ago and the term is very abstracted from its original meaning, but when I hear them rambling about how much this country sucks I think about how it was a pretty cool place for my great grandfather to seek shelter from identitarian genocide and create a good family from nothing.
