Excerpt from rehersal with 2/5 of band. Note the gopro headstock for maximum capture of dumb slam riffs.

In a world... where it turns out I can do a reasonable movie trailer style voice-over, comes a new video. Record samples from unconventional sound sources and use them in your music to make it sound distinct.
The download for this episode features 200 such samples, plus a demo song and all of the narration, including my ridiculous voice-over.

cereally though man without vocals that shit was way too long, buncha rad ideas but kept having to remind myself to pay attention. don't ever post anything like that again without vocals.
This shit is old. I forgot I made these. I was looking up E.E.'s "Melhouse" tracks and it spurred my memory.

Really cool melodies and riffs throughout. Definitely interested to hear with bass and vocals. As Bland Ed said, feels a little too long without the vocals, but the music was pretty interesting throughout so it wasn't boring or anything.

I just got an iPad Mini last week and fucked around with recording some really old songs and riffs I had lying around while trying to program drums in Garageband. By no means are these finished products, just rough tracks I posted for fun while trying to figure out drum patterns in GB.
been a while, actually, since i finished a project, dug this out and threw it online today. I've got an 8-track full of half recorded stuff that i keep meaning to dig out. too bad work means no more time for music for the last few months.
anyway, this shit is real schizophrenic, all over the place genrewise.

hey, thanks for listening, dudes! I know it's a chore to hear a non-instrumental song in that sort of state, so thanks for making it through
I'm actually stalled out on how exactly the vocal patterns should go, so it might be a while before I make any more progress
you ever tour over this way i know dudes that would definitely want to help you with shows.

Got some new software for recording and I re-did the guitar tracks completely on this song, much better tones than the previous version that was recorded with my cheap, terrible Crate half stack.
After 3 minutes when it starts to get almost melodic, I love that part. Are you on the left channel or right? I'm also curious about the performance, how much was composed versus improvised? The whole idea behind the project seems really cool.

and thanks! the piece is based around a set of chords, some suggested rhythms, optional notes w/ each chord to improvise with, and loose time durations. so there's a score, and we're playing to a timer, but it's pretty open
