I don't take it as being a smart ass as much as anal retentive dork.

Speaking of anal retention, there is one spot in Skyrim that kept crashing my game. A lake on the other side of the middle mountain range. There are two piece of user created content there but they seem to co-exist fine until randomly BANG! Straight to desktop. Well, I couldn't let it be and just kept going back there disabling this and that and it still keeps crashing. So, I deleted the game and the extra content. I'm now going to reinstall Skyrim but use the Nexus to upgrade since I think those nerds have a higher standard than the Stream workbench crowd. Plus, Nexus has a few unofficial patches, and the Elder Scrolls always needs more patching. I'll swim through that damn lake yet.

I liked first light better mainly because the main dude in second son was so damn irritating. I have the PS3 Infamous games, but I haven't played them yet. Are they just as good?

i think riley said it best, the infamous games are like video game junk food. nice little distraction, but nothing really substantial or memorable

I actually love that, haha. That's my favorite part of the Far Cry games is blowing up the increasingly difficult encampments. If you're talking about the specific climbing tower shit; yeah, that's kinda boring.

once i unlocked all the towers/territory and smashed all the encampments there was nothing else i was interested in. i scarcely couldnt believe how fucking utterly gay and juvenile the far cry story 3 was..

No, man. You just didn't get it. The story subverts gaming clichés.

I still can't believe they killed Vaas off halfway through the game.

raiding his compound while they played a looped Die Antwoord song was pretty much the pinnacle of stupidity (and humor) in the game

I couldn't believed you were punished for siding with the "baddies" when the "goodies" were so utterly vapid and not worth saving.

I pondered buying Tomb Raider, but the PS4 version looks better.

Should have bought Divinity: OS instead.

I think I played an hour of Tomb Raider before I said, "fuck this. I'd rather play Uncharted 2 again."

I'll expand more on it tomorrow, but the physics shit in PC Batman AC are just hilarious. Who knew a bunch of rugs and garbage on the floor could so much fun?

Does it? I have it on PC, and I kinda doubt that.

Yeah, PC is running the version that got released on 360/PS3. PS4 & X1 has different lighting and textures and shit. It wasn't just a resolution/frame bump like some other games brought over. Pics & vids confirm it. Plus, now Laura looks less like Jennifer Lawrence on the PS4.

PC Report!

Fucking Skyrim is crashing on me once again with the Nexus mods. I have it going great, and I get greedy and I install something potentially harmless, but one way or another it conflicts with another mod and things go to shit. Have to delete and reinstall. It's okay, though (not really). Each time I learn how this whole process works better. May have to forgo the mod named Sexlab*, as that was one of the mods I install before disaster struck.

Batman: Arkham City: I was expecting better graphics, but I wasn't expecting 38 million individual pieces of paper, and garbage to be swirling around and be kick-able. Fucking Catwoman knocked a dude out and as he fell to the floor the rug he was standing on flipped over and covered him. Never gave a rat's ass nor owned a physics card before now. Glad I do.

Alice: Return to Madness: Looks better, is more vibrant, and has physics shit on the floor as well. Thing is, I had to go digging into system files to get it to run at 60fps. Who caps PC games? What a bunch of assholes.

Singularity: This is a straight up port of the 360 version, isn't it? Come on, man. Raven used to be a PC game developer. Increased resolution and frame rates are expected, but I need one bell or one whistle over here.

Far Cry (original): Running it with a mod that I probably could have run on my last PC, but never did. And I thought games like NOLF were harder without auto aim controller control. This is brutal. Dark Souls... Ninja Gaiden... don't have shit on this. May not be able to play it this way. If the mod doesn't fix the rocket launching sniper fucks with bionic sight, then I'm giving up.

Bought a bunch of more Steam games today, including the Tomb Raider reboot since it was only 3 bucks. I'll be the judge of who is prettier PC vs PS4.

Tonight I'll reinstall Unreal using a DX10 patch I couldn't use on my last PC. I'll be the judge about DX10 rendering.

I bought Judge Dredd vs Judge Death off GOG once for 3 cents years ago. Should see what it up with that. I'll be the judge... Judge Dredd.

PC Report!

Tonight is Friday so I should really get back to GTA V, but I don't want to. Still want to fuck around with the PC. Probably try to set-up Skyrim again. I really did and do love the FPS mod in GTA V. Yet, at the end of the day, it is just another GTA game and not a single one of them has kept me enamored enough to finish the game. The dread of having to do another mission with flying just lingers in the mind when I think of this one. Oh boy!
