Thumbs way up for the first episode. The skit was pretty lame, as it involved a bunch of people who can't act, including Norm, but the rest of the bits, where it's just Norm telling jokes, was fucking great. Definitely the funniest new show I've seen this year.

Nope. I was worried that the format of the show would limit how funny it is, but the format isn't so different from Weekend Update. It's basically him doing a really good job pointing out how ridiculous athletes are the way he pointed out the same shit in celebrities and politicians on SNL.
It's great, man. It's instantly in the top three or four shows currently on Comedy Central. Not that there's a ton of competition.

Yeah, I watch zero sports and liked most of it. Wasn't all good, but it was good overall. It isn't The Norm Show or anything, but it's Norm.

In case anybody missed it, here's an interview he did with AV Club this week. It's one of the best, most unaffected interviews I've ever read.
But as a fucking stand-up, you could kill for 20 minutes, but four minutes, you bomb, you’re dead. You cannot fucking recover. But I guess what I find funny is that when I’m bombing, I start smirking; then they fucking hate me. Because they think I’m making fun of them or something. But the reality of it makes me laugh.
