.....was one of my favorite shows ever. Kalibas/Creation Is Crucifixion/Playing Enemy/27 at Satyricon in Portland. One of those shows where all of the bands are so on it and you don't lose interest in what's going on even for a second the whole night. Now listening to the Kalibas tour only disc "Struggling Through Life A Minute And A Half At A Time" in honor of this special anniversary.
Consequently, 10 years ago today was the first time I met anyone from the RelapseBB in person. Just before Playing Enemy's set I walked up to Shane and asked him if he was Nub Willis. His eyes got big and he laughed and asked who I was. Then he pointed out Poopmouth Jody and Burke (his board name at the time was something like I'm Actually A Guitarist) but unfortunately I never really interacted with WorsethanAaron that night. I remember it like it was yesterday.....well, except the end of the night, I barely remember convincing Playing Enemy to drop me off at my house on their way back to Seattle because I was "right off the freeway". I was still fairly new to Portland and learning my way around and I was actaully 40-50 blocks off the freeway. Andrew always teases me about it to this day.

i remember when "ravishing" rick rude tried to give steamboat the rude awakening with a leather belt and steamboat reversed it and hung rude over the top rope with it and strangled him... back when men were men...

No he's right, I think I need a spoon collection. Actually, my cats should have a spoon collection. That way I could get both of his requests taken care of at the same time!
And I imagine that is why he's such a sissy about things....probably had his ass kicked a few too many times. Poor guy....
