In Colonel Homer, Marge is talking to Homer while he puts on a tie and not listening to her. He gives a bunch of automatic responses like, "Uh-huh," "That's great!" etc. Finally:

Marge: "You're not even listening to me..."
Homer: "Sure they will!"

I try to use this whenever the situation presents itself.
