I was suprised to see that this is actually a logo familiar to me, used by the Wu-Tang Clan:

RZA even had a side project called the Gravediggaz, who released an album called 'The Pick, the Sickle and the Shovel':

This makes sense in context of the group, and I'd always assumed it was some kind of reference to the gear an actual Gravedigger would use.
According to Wikiedia, NK chose it as "an adaptation of the communist hammer and sickle, but with a traditional Korean calligraphy brush used for writing, symbolizing the 'working intellectual'"
Basically I want you to find out if Kim Jong-il is in the Wu-Tang Clan.
