New Jersey Flower and Garden Show...With Meat

Post by Toxicarius »

So I went today. Big whoop. Wanna fight about it?

Anyway, I'm glad my admission was half price because this year's show was rather hum-drum, and I'll best most attendees would agree with me. Especially since the exhibit area was a ghost town while Vendor's Row was mobbed. So everyone paid good money for the privilidge of shopping at a horticultural flea market??

Anyway, this post is about the pics, so without further ado:

A few of the exhibits...

A good show features display gardens/hardscapes featuring good creative ideas grounded in reality that can inspire similar creativity for the home gardener/landscaper. Though there was some of that at this show, much of the displays concentrated on artsy-fartsy nonsense that no one in his right mind would ever wish to duplicate on his landscape. The fact that most arriving attendees made a quick perusal of the displays before scampering towards the shopping area drove home that maddening reality. So all there was left to do was to ninja-pic some meat. :|
