It'd be too hard to narrow it down to one.
Since the mid/late 80's I've listened to Kreator - Pleasure To Kill, Voivod - Killing Technology / Dimension Hatross, and Venom - Welcome To Hell at least once a month...

Re: What album have you listened to the most in your life?
Fuck yes! Somewhere between '93 and '95 I had a cassette with Arise and BTR recorded on it. Listened to it at school almost every day for a solid year. Because of that, I haven't thrown either of them on in quite awhile, I wore 'em out....barfingawesome wrote:I'm going to also add:

A long time ago in Dallas I pulled up at a stoplight and looked over into the car next to me. In it were two short-haired teenage boys blasting "Arise" and viciously headbanging, like they bobblehead dolls. It was so out of place/incongruous that I couldn't stop laughing. A lot of people loved that album.

I think most of mine have been covered in this thread.
Sepultura - Beneath The Remains/Arise
Obituary - First 3
Metallica - First 4
Slayer - First 5
I played the shit out of those in Junior High and High School. Then I damn near wore them out after I started driving.

Arise has received many spins by me. One of the few albums that I own on CD, cassette, and vinyl.

You know...after all of this time the only complaint I have about that album is how much it cost to make. It would cost $200 today. This album is also notable in that as much as I love it every single fan of it I've ever met has been an artfag douchebag. This is just bad luck.Spectre Vs. Rector wrote:

yeah, i'm with you on their nowadays fanbase; luckily i haven't seen too many MBV tees to cause eyerolling out the skull, but currently it almost makes me cringe to admit i love MBV (and shoegaze in general).
