I've been putting off some of his books too long, I think I should get on it.

One of my heroes. I couldn't find any release info on the site. My meatworm tingles at the thought of viewing this.

That would have been perfectly acceptable. Also permissible: asking Smegma for an invite to CG to view this documentary.rape bear wrote:Shit, I was going to make a Mugwump quip; would that be tacky now?Turd Murder wrote:One of my heroes. I was in a Lawrence a long time ago and went to the museum there. They had a whole Burroughs exhibit with his shotgun art...basically plywood and shit like that he threw paint on and then blew away with guns. It was hilarious to see that shit hanging there next to all the other art.
I read all of his novels and other writings in HS, I honestly haven't touched anything he wrote since about '92 or '93, whenever. I loved his books when I was a kid. Good guy.

Honestly, it wasn't that impressive. You're seeing it right there...
I'm sure he was somewhere laughing his ass off that they hung that stuff in the museum.
Lawrence was an odd little town. I climbed out onto the frozen Kansas river and then (of course) fell halfway through the ice and ended up walking around with the lower part of my body wet. I found some cool blues tapes there, though. It seems like a nice place to slowly die.
