Using that scale, USA is roughly 62x larger than Norway which would give Norway 17,980 medals.

i'm going to point out when someone is misrepresenting the situation as something laughable when it isn't. i love the olympics as an incredible amount of effort and dedication culminating in a show of focus and performance; being the absolute best in the world at something is really interesting. that said, i still wish the olympics hadn't happened here-- i'll take teachers and health care over fucking games any day of the week. i can't believe anyone thinking this shit was worth the financial gutting that is and will be taking place because of it.
i assure you i am in no way about any of this as i personally won absolutely zero gold medals and the relevance of borders to me is only to serve as a frustration when i want to see bands.

The 2010 games were dominated b y North america. Canada owned the gold medals, and the U.S. is one of the few countries to ever get more total medals than Germany in recent history. It would have been better for North America if we had some help from those fucking lazy Mexicans.
I can't believe from that list that Aussies are above all these countries that actually have snow all year round ov4er most of the country. We only get 4 months or so of snow over a few hills.
So Canada win, Germany second and USA/Norway third on Gold medals - Good on ya Canucks.
