Mike (guitar, vocals) sings for Gravehill now. Mitch (drummer) does a bunch of ambient-type stuffs. Cynthia (orginal bass player) is the current "girl voice" in Despise You. Not sure about Reggie or Sage.
Incalculably stupid, i trust you'll agree.

No shit?? Haha. I checked out the GASP Myspace a while back because something reminded me of them (played with them a long, long as time ago and I thought they were awesome). I saw that and tried to compare the Mikes but he looks totally different.
Edit: Holy fuck, it is him! Crazy!

Yeah i know, kinda weird. When Gravehill played here last year, my friend kept yelling out GASP song titles. i could tell Mike was trying to ignore him. Ha ha.delmuerte wrote:No shit?? Haha. Yeah I ran into mitch a few years ago in a Palo Alto record exchange thing..Tarentel played which is why I was there, but i snagged up a couple gasp records from the dude, and one of his solo 3" cds with hand-pressed art, etc. It was pretty cool and I dug the recording. I blathered on and on about GASP when i found multiple copies...for about 10 minutes until he told me he was part of it. Bastard. Way cool dude, though.

I did the exact same thing at a record swap in LA.Oakenflesh wrote:Yeah I ran into mitch a few years ago in a Palo Alto record exchange thing..Tarentel played which is why I was there, but i snagged up a couple gasp records from the dude, and one of his solo 3" cds with hand-pressed art, etc. It was pretty cool and I dug the recording. I used to be friends with Cynthia awhile back but we lost touch. She gave me a couple of gasp 12in and got my band on kxlu. She was very sweet. I wish I would've stayed in contact.

Mitch hooked up C3L on KXLU back in 1999. I'm very thankful for that. He worked the door at PCH the night we played there, I regret not talking to him more that night. We stopped writing eachother shortly after that.

There's something quite noble in owning those on VHS.

They had a few around then. Noothgrush (7"), Volume Eleven (7"), Suffering Luna (LP).Streven Adler wrote:i haven't thought about this band in years. what was that split they put out near the end of the 90's?

I have the demo, got it from Mitch before they had any other releases out. Last time I tried listening to it, it was fucked and unplayable. Not sure what happened.
