I'm for a universal ban on bringing dogs anywhere in public except dogs parks.

I took Mon/Tues off and went record shopping with my dog on Tuesday, we walked to like 6 different record stores and casually browsed over the course of several hours, by the third place I had to start refusing the treats the staff were offering her because I don't want my little baby getting fat....... rest assured that thread crossed my mind once or twice.......

OK, so I'm a little bias because I hate dogs, dog owners, and everything associated with dogs. My world would be better without dogs, hipsters, vegans, and fat people. You're a hipster dog owner with a fat dog fed by record store owners who are most likely vegan. I guess that means I hate you.

BUT, if your dog had some sort of disease where she would die unless each day you ate her eye boogers and let the saliva from your mouth mingle with her mucous membranes, would you do it to keep her safe? let's say it had to be special human saliva, because it turns out her disease is one where only the human she has bonded with most can save her...like you'd really have to get in the crevice of her eye with your tongue...would you?

Well since you implied we could be potential friends based on my response I will answer honestly and say I would do whatever it took to ensure my little diva is well cared for..... last month that involved following her around with a tupperware container to catch her urine to take to the vet to have screened for a bladder infection, then carrying said urine to the vets office..... she was fine...... what kind of a person gets a dog if they aren't 100% committed to it's care? I don't want to know people like that...... this is not my first dog, my last one died at age 10 2 years ago of a combination of Lupus and hip dysplacia...... I was there with her when we said goodbye..... that's fucking commitment, knowing when your dog is no longer enjoying life and having to pull the plug on your best friend...... having to see her nose spray blood everywhere or having to carry her up and down the stairs every time she needed to pee....

I do not like dogs at all, and I have one. too much time, too much money and too much effort. I've nver understood what people "get" out of taking time to look after something, pick up it's shit and take it out in the cold when it can't converse or reason with you or enjoy a record or a progame. Really the dog is my wife's and when I asked her what she actually gets out of owning a dog she basically looked at me like my dog does when I tell the dog to leave me alone.
