yeah $15 seems a bit steep right now. i've got other games to finish anyway.
including invisible war
if there's anybody in the world who'd be fucking unobservant enough to actually damage themselves with trap-soap I guess it'd be the guy with dialup in 2007
i'm glad they're not charging $60 for Halo CE 360 but even still $40 seems a bit steep
the god of war collection was what, $30? and that contained two games

yeah. $50 seems alright for that to me. i dunno, priorities i guess
i'm sure $40 is a steal for H:CE for some people

especially for what equates to a negligible gain from the original. i played CE again last year and it was fine. great even.
online co-op would be fun but that whole "CE maps in Reach" thing is bullshit and the more i think about it the more i hate it
and while we're on the subject, why just CE and not 2 as well? they shut down the servers so people can't play it anymore and i'm sure there's an interest in it...
argh

now i'm not really sure how the weapons will work in the game. whether you'll be using some new version of the needler, the reach one or what. same with the AR and the pistol. so it might end up feeling like a tweeked version of the reach engine but you get it..
Shadows of the Damned so far is strange, sort of odd, a little weird, and kind of quirky. I would not say crazy, nor would I say it was bizarre. I guess the game is good so far. Also, I guess it's entertaining me. I think something is missing though. The levels seem small and cramped though, like an early 2K deathmatch map. Actually, that might be it. This game feels like a PS2 or original XBOX game.
supposedly it takes a little while but that game goes totally crazy partway through.
the list of people behind that game is insane and i want very badly to give it a shot once it's in the bargain bin
-the guy who made resident evil 1 & 4
-the guy who did the music for silent hill
-the guy behind Killer 7 and No More Heroes
by some coincidence another message board i read is doing a book club-style playthrough of Killer 7 which i've owned for 4 years and never played so i'm kind of looking forward to that

i haven't seen this one but the game (snes point and click horror adventure with all kinds of random deaths) should make it good

it's getting good reviews and it's supposed to be weird as shit but i probably won't get it.
better check that new vegas thread.
better get that dlc.

What do you think they're doing up there right now? A smiling SLH listening to MLK's juicy wife cheating stories while Maya takes notes?

I can and can't believe that game came out on a Nintendo system. It's awesome and probably the weirdest, most fucked up game I've ever played. I never got to finish it but it's great. I wish more games like that came out these days.
Trying to slog through Prototype, way too many god damn upgrades and offensive skill sets that seem useless combined with a poorly integrated side quest system is really dragging down a game which has a lot of potential at its core. If they can fix the targeting system, streamline the means in which you receive your powers and give the city more personality I'll be all over the sequel.

It’s not enough that the screen flashes all kinda of horrid shades of red when your taking a pounding, you’ll now have to deal with a crazy blurring effect letting you know your getting smashed…..Or rather ‘suppressed’.
“When you lay down fire in close vicinity to an enemy, the incoming barrage will show up as a graphical blur effect on his screen to stress him and let him know it’s not safe to pop out from behind cover,” Said Kertz.
Old captain support also has a handy bipod attached to his LMG. When near walls or anything he can slap the bipod onto, firing accuracy and stability sky rockets with moment obviously taking a hit. If Bad Company 2 is anything to go by, then you aren’t going to last all that long before the nades coming raining in!
two hours in and Killer 7 is already one of the most bizarre games i've ever played.
why did i just kill an anime girl? why is there a dead gimp dangling above that door?
